The Garden in the management of spaces follows the principles of inclusive design. Thanks to a grant from the University and Research Ministry of Education, the Path of the Senses was created, dedicated to the visually impaired and blind, adapting the path for motor disabilities already present. The project involved the construction of 4 flower beds with aromatic plants accompanied by descriptive panels in Braille placed along the path, and the installation of 4 tactile visual information panels, equipped with QR code and NFC proximity sensors.
The execution of the project has made it possible to improve accommodation, addressing not only sensory and motor disabilities, but also mothers with strollers, the elderly and/or people with temporary mobility difficulties.
