Explore biodiversity through our educational programs!

The Garden offers a wide range of trails and activities, designed to explore scientific and naturalistic themes in a unique setting.

Guided tour

 (Duration: approximately 90 minutes)

An immersion in nature. Discover the charm of mountain ecosystems through a trail that passes through beech forests, fir woods, and bodies of water, leading up to striking rock gardens and high-altitude grasslands. Along the way, you will explore our themed areas dedicated to medicinal plants and native horticultural varieties, concluding the experience with the authentic taste of wild berries.

Our activities are led by qualified expert staff who follow the principles of Environmental Interpretation (Tilden, 1957; Sam Ham, 1992).

More than a simple lecture, we offer visitors a dynamic educational experience: we translate the technical language of science into engaging stories, transform scientific rigor into compelling narratives, making nature fascinating even for non-experts.

Workshop

(Duration: approximately 60 minutes)

Learning by doing

Our goal is to transform science into a dynamic and interactive experience, allowing visitors to discover nature, understand its secrets, and learn how to care for it. These activities are designed for schools and groups of all kinds and can be tailored to meet visitors’ needs.

Choose from our different offerings:

The 5 senses

A discovery game of the five senses. In groups, participants will stimulate sight, touch, smell, taste, and hearing through various educational activities.

Let’s learn how to take a cutting

Under the guidance of our staff, participants discover the secrets of wild plant propagation through a hands-on experience. At the end of the workshop, each participant receives their own cutting to take home and nurture.

What plant is it? Let’s create a herbarium

A journey to discover plant biodiversity. Participants will learn the rules of species identification and botanical nomenclature, and will create a small herbarium to share with friends and others.

 Sensory treasure hunt for families

Discover plants, scents, colors, and curiosities of the botanical garden through clues and small challenges. Families follow the route independently using a map and a game sheet.
